      The purpose of the Society is to provide an opportunity for musicians to perform beautiful music professionally at artistic venues, and to provide exceptional music for audiences to enjoy at events of meaning.

      Our members are violinists, violists, cellists, pianists, guitarists, & many more. We have decades of experience crafting programs, both for private events such as weddings and corporate dinners, to large-scale public performances.

In search of something beautiful & meaningful,

Something which both has value & is valued by others,

To inspire in ourselves and others a change,

To motivate,

To socialize,

To continue a society that values these old musical traditions,

To express & be heard;

To these ends and many more

We embark on a journey to create a chamber music series,

Which we hope will transform the lives of those around us.

      A Violette Marine (French spelling) is a Baroque string instrument built by Castrucci, as it appeared in Handel's opera, Orlando (see page 97 in the full score from IMSLP here). There is some mystery surrounding it, as there don't seem to be many remaining instruments left. It was chosen in the spirit of preserving old musical traditions, and a play on words, since we are living in a "marine" community.

What are we named after?
